Q My fiance and I both like the same song for our parent dances, would it be OK for us to have both parent dances at the same time?

Would guests perceive it it as unusual or would something be lost? I know it's up to us, but I'm curiuos about what is customary.

A You can definitely dance with your parents at the same time. Either you can both be announced and start dancing together, or have the band/DJ announce that the bride will dance with her dad and after a minute, announce the groom dancing with his mom, and they'll join in while you and dad keep dancing.
