Q I'm in a good friend's wedding and have been wracking my brain trying to come up with something fun to do for/with/to them at the reception. At my wedding, one of the bridesmaids made up signs for the whole wedding party to hold up saying "8.5", "9.0", etc. every time we kissed to "rate" us. It was really cute and something people still talk about. I'd like to do something unique for her too. Any ideas?

A Recently I've been seeing a few fun things you might want to do at the reception. One is a fun dance where the bridal party entertains the couple. You can mimic a dance sequence from a video or a movie that they like or that you think is appropriate. This would involve the bridal party getting together ahead of time and rehearsing to make sure everyone knows what to do.

Another idea is to write a song about/for the couple. Take the tune from any song - it doesn't have to be a wedding song - and rewrite the lyrics to reflect the bride and groom. It can be funny, sentimental or both.

If the bride and groom have a good sense of humor you can roast them. Though cracking these types of jokes may be more appropriate for the rehearsal dinner.
