Not looking forward to his raucous night out with the boys? Trying to figure out how to handle all the debauchery? You're not alone; the traditional bachelor party is not very popular with most brides. No one likes the idea of her soon-to-be life partner spending several hours up close and personal with a bleached-blonde Barbie-type of 34DD fame. We hear you, but the truth is that there's not much you can do to stop the festivities unless you want to throw a huge wrench in the wedding proceedings. That said, there are a few steps you can take to make sure your guy's bachelor bash doesn't leave you wanting to bash him.

1. Make sure the party date is as many days from your wedding day as possible. The guys want to do it the night before? No way. Your fiance and everyone else involved should have plenty of time to recover. You want to do everything humanly possible to avoid looking down the aisle at your fiance and wondering if his red-rimmed eyes relate to you (and how beautiful you look) or the hour that he passed out on someone's couch the night before. So be sure to tell the party planner that all alcohol-infused activities must take place at least two days before your wedding.
