Small pieces of jewelry. If you live by the shore, have silver or gold charms made from the pieces of beach glass you've collected on your early morning walks. Grace Kelly gave her bridesmaids a gold charm engraved with her and Prince Rainier's initials and the date of their wedding.

Silver picture frames or boxes. Jackie Kennedy's 10 bridesmaids received monogrammed silver frames.

Guardian angels. If you're a skilled sewer, make Little Angels from vintage linens or embroidered handkerchiefs. If not, perhaps it's a job for Granny.
