iV: With so much pressure on the photos turning out well, hiring a photographer is a tough job. What advice would you give to brides and grooms who are still searching?
SW: Get someone you feel comfortable with. Even a relatively unobtrusive photographer, like myself, will be spending most of your wedding day with you, so be sure it's someone you want to do that with. And research! Be sure to check out a few photographers so you can see what different styles are available, and what the different price ranges are. Go with a style that you like, not that everyone else says you should have -- they're your pictures. Finally, I wouldn't assume that the most expensive photographer will get the best photos, but I can almost guarantee that you won't be satisfied if you skimp on your photo budget.
